The documentary "From Flint: Voices of a Poisoned City,"was made in the
capstone class taught by Prof. Bob Albers, and has been selected among
1700 films for the Oscar Student Film award.

Elise Conklin, Liv Larse, Jenna Ange, and Izak Gracy--the students who
made the film were in Professor Pillai's intro to documentary class. "I am proud of being
their mentor and nurturing their desire to document the reality around us", said Pillai.
